We’ve just released the first two Xcite!-compatible PlantPets. They are Passion and Prince of the Night - two beautiful hyacinths textured by [Zpr]. They come in a new highly realistic pot designed by [Zpr] as well.

Prince of the Night will become rare a week after the release and Passion will remain a common plantpet. Both can come as babies of other hyacinths. And their baby seeds can be any hyacinth. For the first week of the release both will be sold at the PlantPets Main Store with 20% OFF for PlantPets Premium members.

We are very happy to announce that today PlantPets has become an official partner of Xcite! On the 29th of October 2011 we will release two new hyacinth plantpets which will be Xcite!-compatible. That is, they will be able to sense avatars wearing the Xcite! genitalia around them, they will react to touch and they will also make you react to them. We will leave one of them common and the second will become rare one week after the release. We hope this is exciting news for all of you!

Please be aware that LL is performing a critical OS software upgrade that may affect the functioning of some sims in the next 2 weeks. The sim of the PlantPets Main Store is functioning fine already. However, in the next 2 weeks we recommend that you first tp to our main store for a second to check if it's up and running before trying to plant seeds or get baby plantpets. Also, please make sure your sim is running fine before attempting the above procedures.

I have been very busy in RL as well with an exciting SL project unrelated to PlantPets. With the help of a friend merchant in SL I made a 1-prim vendor which allows the merchant to apply any face with any buttons on it and sell multiple products with different prices. I hope to be able to prepare this vendor for public release by the end of this year as a product of the dejaPi Script Lab.

We opened a little rose shop at the market in the Apollonian Empire region. The region is a popular role play location which brings the real look and feel of Ancient Greece. Just a few days before the astronomical end of the summer we are ready to make the last summer release. The new PlantPet species Marigold will be released on Sep 17, 1 pm SLT in the PlantPets Main Store. Marigolds come as six common ones and a rare one which is also elite. And we are planning some surprises during the release! :)

All old affiliate vendors which sell either plantpets or gift vouchers will be shut down next Monday. The booster affiliate vendors will continue to operate with 10% commission. The booster prices in the main shop will be the same as those in the affiliate vendor. PlantPets Premium members can buy boosters with 10% discount from the PlantPets Main Store.

We opened the group PlantPets Premium for joining without invitation. The joining fee is L$100. This is because the number of invitations we had to send manually has become overwhelming. Avatars who are already members of PlantPets Premium don't have to do anything.
