We released a improved version of the PlantPets HUD. This HUD monitors the following parameters of all plantpets in a region:
- moisture (water drop button)
- happiness (smiley button)
- health (heart button)
- days to next baby seed (calendar button)
- number of seeds ready to collect (seed button)

We just released 7 common and 1 rare elite Wax Agave plantpets. The rare elite one Wax Agave *Nueva Azul* is available via a PlantPets mission by the end of September. We also released a second September mission which rewards some of the old and most hard to find limited edition plantpets: the two Rosacea cacti and two vintage Calla Lilies.

We just released a limited elite Smiling Orchid Tree *Lee* in memory of Leeuwie Shepherd - Lee, who we have been missing since 2014. The PlantPets Main Store will give away seeds of it, one seed per avatar, until the 23rd of August (no tag required).

Lee built some of the most beautiful plantpets – Anthurium, Croton, Marigold, Moth Orchid, and Smiling Orchid Tree. He was full of creative ideas, and we had future plans which remained unfinished. Lee’s contribution to PlantPets is immense and is well remembered.

Six common and one rare ivy plantpets were released last Friday! Each seed purchased in the PlantPets Main Store comes with a flag texturing HUD with 77 country flags and more! This is a collaboration with Love Everlasting where you will also be able to get the HUD.

As you have probably read in the SL blog, gacha machines will no longer be permitted in Second Life starting from Sep 1. We have already removed the gacha machines from the PlantPets Main Store. These gacha machines were a compact way of offering old common seeds in the PlantPets Main Store. From now on, the PlantPets Main Store will offer only a selection of common plantpet seeds. Occasionally, rare and limited edition plantpet seeds may be available as rewards of PlantPets missions as usual. For a larger selection of seeds please visit the shops of PlantPets Breeders.

We just released a new PlantPets Mission – August Rarities. It exchanges 10 growing plantpets for a seed of only one of the following four limited edition roses:

We changed the names of of four Adenium Trumpet plantpets to match better their looks. Seeds with the old names will give plants with the new names automatically. There is no need of any action. The new names are:

Blue becomes Poison
Green becomes Aqua
Pink becomes Fire
Yellow becomes Candy

In the last week, we reviewed and reorganised the genes of all plantpets to comply with the same concept. That is, each species has multiple common plantpets and a few rares, and eventually fewer limited. The rare plantpets have no color genes (which makes them rare) and the common and limited ones have color genes whose strengths add up to about 60%.
In this, we changed the status of a few plantpets as follows:

Today we released 11 lotus plantpets, 7 common, 2 rare, 1 rare elite and the eleventh is a limited-edition Lotus *Svatantrata* dedicated to the 4th of July 2021. Svatantrata means independence or liberty in Sanskrit.

The three rare lotus plantpets and the limited edition can be obtained via a PlantPets Mission available in the PlantPets Main Store. The deadline for completing the mission is the end of July. The mission exchanges any 10 plantpets for 1 seed of the four rare and limited lotus plantpets (of your choice). One avatar can complete multiple missions.
