New Lucky Bamboos

Today we release 14 new lucky bamboo plants. These are 7 common bamboo plants named after the days of the week and 7 rare ones named after the Seven Lucky Gods of good fortune in Japanese mythology and folklore. They are:

• Hoteison, the fat and happy god of abundance and good health
• Jurojin, god of long life
• Fukurokuju, god of happiness, wealth and longevity
• Bishamonten, god of warriors
• Benzaiten, goddess of knowledge, art and beauty, especially music
• Daikokuten, god of wealth, commerce and trade
• Ebisu, god of fishers or merchants

The rare lucky bamboos will be available through a mission which will consist of exchanging any six plantpets for a randomly picked rare lucky bamboo plant. This time we have decided the award to be randomly picked in accordance with the theme of the release. The rare lucky bamboos given by the mission represent your lucky blessings. The mission will come free with every purchase of a common lucky bamboo until the end of June 2014. In addition we will sell the mission separately until the end of July. The deadline for completing the mission is the end of August.

Each of the common lucky bamboos consists of 16 stems which grow in random order. In total, they are 144 temporary prims when fully grown. Each of the rare lucky bamboos consists of 3 stems which grow in random order. In total, they are 27 temporary prims when fully grown. The moisture meter of the rare lucky bamboos is an image of the lucky god it represents; when the plants needs watering the image gradually fades away and then comes back when the plant is watered.

In addition for a limited time we will have a Lucky Vendor which will sell a random product, including all new bamboos and plantpet boosters for a small price.
